Pulse Impact: A cornerstone of Pulse’s commitment to the community

Pulse is a trusted local utility committed to connecting Northern Colorado, and since its inception, Pulse has been an organization that strives to serve its community in every way possible.

As a local, community-owned broadband organization, Pulse Fiber has a mission to serve. In addition to its day-to-day work of providing a critical resource to the community, Pulse creates opportunities for staff to volunteer with non-profits, schools, blood drives, and even within their own neighborhoods. Making Northern Colorado a better place to live, work, study, and play is at the core of everything Pulse does.

Pulse has put boots on the ground and has given employees the opportunity to volunteer with a plethora of organizations, including one by the name of “A Little Help.”  A Little Help is a non-profit that pairs volunteers with seniors who need assistance with tasks such as snow shoveling, grocery shopping, and yard work.

“A team from Pulse volunteered with an organization called ‘A Little Help’ and came to my house today to help me with some things that I can no longer do myself… In 90 minutes, this extraordinary team of six cheerful, energetic, amazing people cleaned leaves out of the corner of my yard, pulled weeds… rearranged a bunch of cabinets, storage bins, and boxes in my garage to make them accessible to me, and loaded my car with the things I’m giving away. I was completely blown away by the awesome work they did.” -Pamela H., Google Review

In addition to providing opportunities for companywide volunteer events, Pulse also has a program called “Dollars for Doers.” It is aimed at giving back to the community even more. In this Program employees can volunteer at their favorite non-profits and earn donations from Pulse, for the non-profit.

Pulse is dedicated to giving back through volunteer programs that connect staff with the community, with the goal of engaging their neighbors and increasing the quality of life for all. Currently, Pulse has a goal of providing quarterly volunteer opportunities for its staff to come together to serve the community.
