Please note: Due to a lack of funding from Congress, the Affordable Connectivity Program is expected to end in April 2024.
New applications for the ACP will not be accepted after February 7, 2024.
Existing recipients of the ACP benefit and those approved by the ACP and enrolled with a service provider by 11:59 p.m. ET on February 7, 2024, will continue to receive the ACP benefit until funding for the program runs out. Funding is expected to run out in April 2024, although this date is an estimate and may change.
Once the program ends, households will no longer receive the ACP benefit or Pulse’s ACP Supplement on their monthly Pulse bill.
Current information about the ACP can be found at AffordableConnectivity.gov.
Please call Pulse at 970-541-4990 with questions about how this affects your Pulse account.
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) provides qualifying households with up to $30 per month to pay for broadband internet service.

That means eligible households can enjoy our Starter Internet package at no cost or My Gig Internet package for $30.00 per month.

Affordable Connectivity FAQ
What is the ACP? Is it different from EBB?

The ACP is administered by Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) with oversight from the FCC. It is a $14 billion investment in broadband affordability that will help ensure we can afford the internet connections we need for work, school, health care, and more for a long time.
How much is the benefit?
Eligible households will receive up to a $30.00 monthly discount on eligible broadband internet service via the FCC program. On 9/1/2022, we implemented the Pulse ACP Supplement, which adds an additional $14.95 per month, bringing the total monthly discount to $44.95 for qualified households!
What is the Pulse ACP Supplement?
The Pulse ACP Supplement is a $14.95 monthly discount that every ACP participant receives from Pulse in addition to their $30.00 ACP benefit.
We implemented it on 9/1/2022 as part of our commitment to making high-speed, reliable internet accessible to everyone.
By adding the supplement to the ACP benefit, eligible customers can get the Starter Internet package for no cost ($0 per month) or the My Gig Internet package for $30.00 per month.
How do I get the Pulse ACP Supplement?
If you are a Pulse Internet customer and participate in the Affordable Connectivity Program, you will automatically receive the $14.95/month Pulse ACP Supplement.
Do I qualify? How do I know if I’m eligible for the ACP?
Here are ways your household can qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP):
- Based on your household income. You can get ACP if your income is 200% or less than the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
- If you or your child or dependent participate in certain government assistance programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, or other programs.
- If you or your child or dependent already receives a Lifeline benefit.
Can I switch broadband providers?
If you already participate in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) through another provider, you have the option to switch service providers at any time. You will continue to receive your benefit as long as you qualify and as long as your provider is participating in the program. When you sign up for service with Pulse, you will need to complete the ACP Transfer Consent Form.
What is a household?
Only one monthly service discount and one connected device discount is allowed per household.
A household is a group of people who live together and share money even if they are not related to each other.
If you live together and share money, you are one household. If you either don’t live together or you don’t share money, you are two or more households.
