2025 - PCMag Best Quality Network in the US
“Special shout-out to Pulse, the 10-gig town-utility ISP in Loveland, Colorado. It’s a division of the town’s water and power department, and like last year, it has the absolute best Gaming Quality Index score nationally, making it the only ISP with a perfect 20 score for gaming. Unlike last year, however, that score (plus some great speed and price ratings) put it in the top 10 overall.”

2024 - Larimer EOC Collaboration Award for Alexander Mountain Fire
Presented by the Larimer County Office of Emergency Management to Pulse “for your outstanding partnership and for your ongoing efforts in keeping our community safe.”
The Larimer EOC Collaboration Award was given in appreciation of Pulse’s assistance in keeping 911 communications online during the Alexander Mountain Fire in July 2024.
2024 - PCMag Best ISPs: Pulse fastest network in the Mountain Region and 2nd fastest in the nation
2024 - PCMag Best Gaming Quality
Pulse Broadband has the very best score for gaming quality of any provider before we do any conversion to a 1 to 20 scale. That used to be all we considered to pick a best gaming ISP winner, but under our new criteria, when factoring other things like coverage and price, Pulse (the local 10 Gig fiber utility of Loveland, Colorado) couldn’t make the top 10. Nevertheless, it’s worth calling it out for pure connection quality. Several other ISPs try hard to keep up with Pulse’s connection—including Google Fiber, MetroNet, last year’s winner NextLight (also in CO), and Sonic—but going into 2024 the median quality index numbers put Pulse in the pole position nationwide for gaming.
