Pulse is the fastest internet in the Mountain West
In a world that relies more than ever on internet for work, education, entertainment, and access to healthcare, Loveland, Colorado stands as a shining example of community innovation and forward thinking. Since November 2019, Loveland has worked to transform its digital landscape with the construction of Pulse – a brand-new 10-gigabit fiber-optic internet network that passes every address in the city. This ambitious project has promised and delivered ubiquitous access to equitable, affordable, high-quality connectivity, making Loveland a model for digital inclusivity and community development.
In 2023, Pulse ranked in PCMag’s “2023 Best ISPs in the United States” study as both the fastest network in the West-Mountain region, and the second fastest internet service provider (ISP) in the United States.
The Pulse network was designed with the future in mind. Data consumption has gone up 60% per year, every year for the past 30 years with no signs of slowing down. The Pulse network installed today will be able to serve the community for generations to come, even as bandwidth and speed requirements soar. It was built to be easily and affordably maintained, and can be upgraded in the future as 25 gigabits, 50 gigabits, and even 100 gigabits become needed by home and business users.
In addition to the tremendous speed and bandwidth of the world-class fiber-optic network, internet users rely heavily on the performance of their wireless connections. Wireless connectivity is how most people connect with their networks most of the time. Pulse has kept pace with the needs of its users by leaning forward to make sure users are best equipped now and for the future. When service began in June of 2020, wireless networks delivered peak performance with WiFi-5. Since then Pulse has upgraded to WiFi-6, WiFi-6e, and WiFi-7 is on the roadmap to rollout in 2024.
“Pulse is changing the internet game in northern Colorado, offering a level of speed, reliability, and innovation that is unmatched by any other provider. With our cutting-edge technology and unparalleled customer service, Pulse is truly delivering services that nobody else can offer our community. We know what Loveland wants and we’re excited to deliver 10 gigabit fiber internet speeds and a suite of services, including PulseTV, Voice, and WiFi to meet the needs of every home and business user.”
