Why I Have Pulse as My Internet Provider: A Father’s Perspective

As someone who’s worked in technology for most of my life, I’ve always been particular about my internet connection. I build networks for a living, and I know how important reliability is and the quality that’s possible when it comes to fiber optic connections. When I heard Pulse was ready in my area, I decided to give it a shot—and I’m so glad I did. Here’s why.
The connection is solid
First off, the internet connection is solid. There’s absolutely no lag. As someone who works from home in tech, my entire job revolves around my computer and the internet. If it goes down, I’m in trouble. Thankfully, in the two and a half years I’ve been using this service, I’ve never had the internet fail on me. Not once. I haven’t even needed to change the router since day one. That’s how sound their product is. It just works.
Keeping the family peace
Beyond my work needs, this service has been a game changer for my family, especially my son Jonah, who’s really into gaming and streaming 4K movies. With our previous providers, we would argue over bandwidth—if I needed to be doing something while he wanted to game, there just wasn’t enough power for us both to do what we wanted. Now, with Pulse, the bandwidth is awesome throughout the whole house. While he’s playing games, I can stream movies in full 4K without any buffering, at full volume and full pixels. I even hardwired his gaming console with a Cat-5 cable, and he says it’s the best connection he’s ever had. It’s a win-win for both of us.
Predictable pricing
Another thing I appreciate is the pricing. There are no hidden fees or unexpected price jumps, which is a big deal for me. Every other internet company I’ve used in the past always hit me with hidden charges. One month, my bill would be $130, then it would randomly go up. With this provider, it’s been a consistent $70-something since day one. No surprises. I know exactly what I’m getting, and I appreciate that kind of transparency.
Superior technology
As a tech guy who used to build networks with fiber optics, I know how much better fiber is compared to copper. It’s faster, stronger, and just more reliable overall. I’ve always wanted fiber-to-the-desk, and now I have it, thanks to Pulse. It’s not just good service; it was a smart business move for Loveland, and I believe more people should make the switch.
Expectations: Exceeded
Pulse has absolutely exceeded my expectations. From seamless gaming and streaming for my family to reliable, fast internet for my work, I couldn’t be happier. If you’re on the fence about switching, trust me, it’s worth it. Keep up the good work, Pulse!
