All-In Pricing simplifies TV and streaming fees

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently implemented new rules requiring cable and satellite TV providers to display an “all-in” price for video programming as a single, prominent line item on customer bills and promotional materials that include pricing information. This means that now, when you see a price for a TV service, it is the total cost for that service and includes fees that previously were added separately, like “Broadcast TV Fees” or “Regional Sports Fees.”

This “All-In Pricing” model is designed to make understanding bills easier and eliminate any confusion that might have been caused by separate programming fees. Pulse believes this change is a positive step, offering greater clarity and transparency in pricing and billing.

The new rules require providers to show the complete cost of your video service as one number. That means a single, easy-to-spot line item on billing statements and the total video service price on websites and marketing materials.

Please note: Sales Tax, Franchise Fees, and PEG (Public, Education, and Government) Fees are excluded from the All-In Price as stipulated by the FCC order.

Current PulseTV customers can rest assured – PulseTV prices aren’t changing. All-in pricing is purely a cosmetic change to simplify how our pricing is presented.
